Asian-Fusion Coleslaw
This Asian-fusion coleslaw dressing combines tangy sour cream, Kinghaven's Creamed Raw Ginger Honey with the warm, aromatic, and slightly sweet notes of Chinese five-spice. It is excellent for topping pulled pork, chicken burgers, or fish tacos.
Ingredients
For the coleslaw
- 2 cups green cabbage shredded
- 1 cup red cabbage shredded
- 1 cup carrots shredded
- 1 cup scallions minced
- 1/4 cup thiny sliced red pepper

- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Instructions
Mix the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey.
Spice & Aromatics: Whisk in the five-spice powder, garlic, and ginger until fully incorporated. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 to 60 minutes before serving to let the five-spice mellow and meld into the dressing.
